The Cinema

Int. The Cinema - Night
Wide eyed she stares at the screen, entranced by each changing scene. The light flickers on her her face as she fills her mouth with buttery popcorn and sips on cold Vanilla Coke.

(reciting along with the film)
I'm not fighting for anything anymore except myself.

Well, it's about time I take photos in one of my favorite places, the movie theater. I'm pretty surprised they let me just stroll on in with a camera and tripod, I had a "please just let me do this for my blog"speech prepared and everything, but hey I wasn't going to tell on myself. So, lately it seems like NO good movies have come to town (the Amy Winehouse documentary was here for literally like 1 day which is ridiculous!), I don't know if it's because it's summer or because the theaters around here only go for the highest budget movies or what, but this night, as usual, the pickings were slim. I was actually thinking this might work in my benefit though, since I wanted a theater all to myself. Strategically avoiding the weekend, I went on a Thursday, and chose the movie I thought I could tolerate the most - Mission Impossible. Upon entering, I was shocked to find at least 10 other people in there... My plan begins to curmble. So, for the next 10 minutes I hop from theater to theater hoping to find one empty so that I could comfortably take my pictures. Oddly enough, all of them had someone in them, and honestly I'm really questioning the two adult couples at the Minions 10 o'clock showing. An animated movie with the most annoying voiced acharacters?! Really?! Why would you do that to yourself?! I'm still going with the theory that it was a drug deal waiting to happen or something. So, with all other opitions exhausted, I drag myself back to Mission Impossible and actually found myself *breaks eye contact and bows head* enjoying it. It definietly had some cheesy dialouge in places, but I'll admit it made me laugh, and yes, I was impressed by some of Tom Cruise's stunts. Could you drive a car going freaing 93479284723947 miles an hour down a flight of stairs? I didn't think so. Anyway, while it's certainly not an Oscar winner, I didn't feel like my money completely went to waste either. Andddddd that's how I conclude my Thursday evening. Gotta say though, movies always seem better when you're dressed in an Audrey Hepburn like ensemble. Maybe that makes life better in general? Probs.

Seen anything good yourself lately? Hit me up on my social medias so we can chaaaaaat.

  1. Oh, I LOVE these photos! So incredibly creative. And hahah, I'm surprised they let you walk in with your equipment. I sneakily took photos in an antique shop last week and was silently praying that the cashiers wouldn't hear my camera's shutter clicking. :)

  4. So , it would be apt to conclude that Society is a reflection of movie theater as most of the movies are targeted at the youth visiting cinema cinemas regularly and portray their film heroes in real life. http://cinemaboxhd-apk.com/cinema-box-apk/
