Ext. Chester Frost Park - Day
She sat on the pier watching the ripples in the water and feeling the sun on her face. She was still in town but her head was on holiday.
You know the Mad Men episode where Betty and Don go to Rome and when they come back Betty is upset and wanting to go away again? (It ends really beautifully with some sort of dimming spotlight effect as Don stands staring after her.) Anyways, I can totally feel her on that right now. I've saving up for the past year to be able to move, and am just looking for the right opportunity so that I can make it happen, I'm hoping it won't be to terribly much longer, but in the meantime I would really like to take a vacation somewhere. Not having any trips planned until the end of May though, I got all glammed up and took myself to the county park on what seems to be the only day that rain wasn't forecasted for this week...meh...for about an hour of peacefulness. The fancier than usual ensemble up against the watery background had me pretending I was posing for Slim Aarons rather than my tripod. *DREAM*ON*
Hope all of you humans had a good weekend! Have to say, I did spend some of mine trying to live vicariously through all of the Coachella updates on Instagram! Keep 'em coming.

ReplyDeleteBefore I read the text of this post I was thinking you totally had a very Italian style going on... I love Italian styles and being part Italian, part of me just wants to embrace it and rock that look all the time but unfortunately there are so many other parts of me that want to wear other styles too. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only person that's completely obsessed with Mad Men...and that scene was so amazing. The style never fails to amaze me on that show, but even if the show sucked I'd probably keep watching it just because of Jon Hamm. Lol anyways beautiful outfit girly I always look forward to seeing what you'll put together next! :)
