Ext. Street - Day
Paused in the middle of the sidewalk she twists the lenses on her camera to focus in on her subject. Dressed to kill in a grey tuxedo dress, leopard heels, and red lipstick she silently sends a warning that this may be considered a man's world, but she's running it.
Int. Living Room - Afternoon
Swallowed in sunlight on the living room couch she begins drafting letters with one hand and crossing fingers on the other that they will feature her work.
Look at that, my first two part story post! I've been wanting to do something like this for a while and with a little encouragement from the team over at Banana Republic, it's finally out of my head and onto your screens. Not too long ago I received the email asking if they could send me two spring items that they thought I would love. Knowing Banana Republic basically does no wrong I answered "yes" with blind faith that they would both be super chic. Anddd I was right! This grey tuxedo dress is perfect for all you independent women working to put your own money in the bank looking for a reliable AM to PM outfit. Sharp, stylish, and easily accessorized with a swipe of lipstick, this dress takes you from business meeting to bellinis real quick.
Moving on to the navy blue baby in the second photo, I've already been convinced its a spring staple with just one wear. It gets pretty warm here in Tennessee, even during these early spring months, but this sweater was light enough that I really didn't even mind I was wearing a sleeve. That's an ideal top right there, one that will stick with you but not to you. I'm no psychic, but I see more of this piece in my #ootd future.
How about you? Found any spring styles that you're already swearing by? Don't keep that stuff a secret, hit me up!
*Banana Republic provided free product in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own though, darlings.*
