Tell Me What You See

A pink dot amidst acres of green, she lies surrounded by flowers and ,happily, nothing else. Clouds pass across the lens of her sunglasses and she looks to the sky watching them change into their own abstract shapes. 

You know what they say, "dreams don't work unless you do", which is exactly why I led myself out into a field and covered myself in flowers. I've waited all my life for an American Beauty moment, and at 23 I finally decided to provide it for myself like the single independent woman I am. Now, sadly, throwing rose petals on yourself while trying to aim your remote at the camera, and keep your face looking like it has an appropriate number of chins is, yeah, pretty hard. After many disastrous attempts it became obvious that my Angela Hayes moment would just have to wait. Instead, I just rolled around in the leftovers. Which I guess sounds kind of gross when worded that way because all I think of when the words "leftovers" is used is refrigerated lasagna chilling in condensation covered tupperware making me feel nothing but nauseous.

Aaaaannnnddd now I'm changing the subject to something much more desirable, this dress. Another winner from Jones + Jones, this sparkly little mini is 100% ready to accompany you to a formal get together, or just be the best dress you've ever worn grocery shopping. *slay on aisle 5*. Seriously though, with it's adorable cap sleeved bodice and perfectly pleated skirt I'm just looking for places to wear this baby.
