Ext. Hidden Lake - Day
Caught in a storm between her head and her heart she finds that the rain hides her tears and washes away the confusion.
Basically spent today out here in a scene from The Notebook dressed as a modern day Allie Hamilton looking for Ryan Gosling to come and sweep me off my feet. Umm hello? Ryan where are you? I know you've "retired" from acting for a while, but for me it was never over! The Notebook, is the only Nicholas Sparks book turned movie that I actually liked. To me it didn't seem nearly as cheap or cheesy as the others, the acting was legit, I felt it was overall well directed, and of course the costumes left a lasting impression on me. So, normally when it starts to rain (which it's been doing way too much lately, do I even still live in TN, or did I move to Seattle?) I pack up my bags refuse to subject my camera to such elements. But, today, something struck me a little different. At the first roll of thunder I found myself pulling on one of the first pieces of clothing that I ever made for myself (vintage Desirae Danielle lol), wrapped my camera in Target bags, and purposely got caught in the rain...then accidentally forgot to bring extra dry clothes to wear on the way home. *smacks hand to forehead* I wonder how many of the same outfits they had for Ryan and Rachel when filming their rain scene?
Also, no I did not chop my hair off, just pinned it up like a magician.
