 Ext. The Pool - Day
She walks through the french doors out to the pool followed by the smell of Chanel No. 5 and tanning oil. The reflection of water ripples dance on her skin as she makes her way to her chair. Taking off all of her jewelry, save for her pearls, she adjusts the back to  the perfect 45 degree angle where she lies watching the cigar smoke from the James Dean upstairs roll out the window and mix with the clouds.

I don't yet live a life of luxury, but I do one day fully intend to.  I'll go to the grocery store and buy all the food that I want, maybe I will even splurge for the non-generic brands. I won't drive with my fingers crossed while my gas light is on E. And there will be a time when I am no longer lounging around at apartment pools, dang it! I'll have my own mansion with my own 1950's-60's Palm Springs inspired pool, and my own bottle of Chanel, not just the tiny free sample bottle the lady at the Belk counter gave me, or better yet maybe I'll just smell of dolla dolla bills y'all. I still have a little, ahem, quite a bit longer to go before I reach a point like this, but until then you'll find me daydreaming of my future life (or even my past life/when my life maybe"should've" been) while wearing pieces that make me feel as though I'm already there, like this lovely little retro number from Aniceta, a vintage inspired swimsuit line that I genuinely want every piece from. They do such a great job of recreating classic silhouettes in such a modern way that you feel equal parts Bridgette Bardot and Beyonce. Now, THAT is a little thing that I like to call keeping' it 100.
