Independent U by Kotex

Int. Window Sill - Night
Her reflection stares back at her while she gazes over the city lit only by stars and street lights. Looking out over all of the buildings in this big city she felt something rise up with in her. She wanted it, all of it. And one day, it would be hers.

That's right, this one right here is for the LAAAAAAADIESSSSSSS! I'm talking tampons, pads, liners, and that feeling you get when you put on your brightest red lipstick. I'm talking...GIRL POWER! *sparkles explode EvErYwHeRe* While I have been sponsored to write this post, please know that all opinions are 100% my own. Ain't nobody telling me how to live my life. Read on...

As a 23 year old, I would say I've had some experience learning what it means to become an independent person. I've held my fair share of part time jobs, dealt with family struggles, had my heart broken, graduated college, pulled my hair out over what the future held, and have yet to stop dreaming. With each new step though, I grew. Looking back, even the most painful or confusing situations lead to opportunities of self discovery including beginning this very blog, and deciding to try ballet. Both, I fell madly in love with and have really poured my heart in soul into. One, lets me express myself through stories and fully explore my sense of style, which I think is derived from who I truly am. The other, physically allows my thoughts and emotions to spill from my brain and heart to the floor in a series of motions that silently tell a story. Both, give me confidence. This is the same feeling I get from the products made by U by Kotex. They're available in a variety of designs and colors so that you, can choose what's best for you. Recently, I've both moved into a new apartment and begun my first full time job, and for both of those, I've trusted U by Kotex to come along with me. Right now, you are able to purchase a box of U by Kotex tampons and will find a free pack of bonus liners, which are always reassuring to have on hand. Whether I'm pitching an idea at work, taking photos in a favorite outfit, or en pointe in nothing but a tutu, I feel assured that I can successfully manage it all under the protection of U by Kotex. With this said, I've posted the two outfits I feel most confident in, from the street to the stage.

  1. Out of curiosity, what age did you start dancing? I was 14 and everyone told me I couldn't learn that late in life, so I'm always interested in hearing other people's stories.
