Ext. Lacma - Day
Two kids weave in and out between the lamp posts laughing as one almost catches up to the other. Turning her attention to the other side of the exhibit she begins to move down the row glancing between each opening only to stop suddenly as she sees him.
Heads up, I'm about to start talking about my trip to Los Angeles again. I know this is an ongoing thing, but just bare with me. I had fun and I want to talk about it ok?! Before going to LA my friend Clare (a native of the sunny city) asked Monica and I to start filling a Google doc full of things that we wanted to do the weekend we were there. The end result was something along the lines of tacos, Hollywood, and more tacos. In our defense we really didn't know what all we should do there, and thought we were safe leaving a lot of the planning in her hands. Turns out, we were right. Clare was awesome in coming up with cool things to do including visiting Lacma and its extensive collection of vintage lamp posts, which is obviously right down my...alley. Whew! Jokes! Anyway, I was in love with it immediately and had to remind myself several times that I'm a grown adult and do not need to try the Singing in the Rain pose on every one. I also saw pictures of Kim Kardashian standing there, so its practically holy ground. LOLZ. One last shout out to Clare for snapping these pics of me, I can only imagine how uncomfortable the tripod ordeal would've been there in that crowd of tourists. And shout out to Asos for making this unitard which is so cute and comfortable it must be woven with unicorn hair and sent to their site straight from the heavens. Think of it as yoga pants for your entire body, but stylish AF. In hindsight, it would've made the ideal outfit for today as well since I am about to stuff my face with turkey and dressing. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating, and happy Thursday to anyone not :)
