Candy Coated

top: yes style, skirt: american apparel, socks: gap, heels: jesica simpson

I'm not sure how clear I've made it on this blog, but I have a rather large sweet tooth. They say people are mainly made up of water, but in my case I think it must be sugar that runs through my veins. I swear to you I still get as excited about a piece of cake or an ice cream cone today as I did when I was a little kid, and it's nearly impossible for me to resist. I always think "oh, I'll just have a taste", but soon the portion has been devoured and my face ends up looking like the boy on Matilda who is forced to eat the chocolate cake. Once, back in the day when I worked at Chuck E. Cheese's there was eight bags of cotton candy (pink and blue just like my outfit!) that hadn't been sold that day and were going to be thrown out, so the manager offered all of them to me. I'd be lying if I said those weren't all gone in about two days...

So anyways, here I am in rather candy colored outfit. Turns out pink and blue don't only look pretty paired together on a cotton candy stick, but on a human as well. Then I sprinkled in a few polka dots and topped it all off with some pretty white heels, which I feel is honestly the icing on the cake.

In other news, I traveled with a friend to Nashville today to see Wicked for the very first time. I have to say, it was really really great! I didn't know the story beforehand, so I was able to be completely surprised by each turn of events. Needless to say, I hope my roommate is cool with hearing me sing Defying Gravity, as I've already added it to my list of shower songs. Ha! This isn't the song that I've chosen to accompany today's post though. I've actually gone with Kids. Why? Because it sounds happy. That is all.
