Ext. The Tivoli Theater - Day
Outside the theater, she waited, beneath the grey sky with lights in her eyes. These people wanted a show, and she would give them one.
These pictures are so much more street styleish than I usually do, but I really love the look of the Tivoli downtown, and couldn't think of a better place to take them in an outfit such as this. I was feeling exceptionally whimsical this day, which tends to happen when I put on a red pair of shoes. They most always turn me into Vicky Page, which this time around was my cue to have my favorite Alexandra Grecco tulle skirt to do a little pa de deux with my Forever 21 peter pan collar top. See now how the theater seemed the only appropriate place to take these photos?!
The Red Shoes, is one of my favorite ballets and movies. If you haven't seen it, I'd go ahead and add that to your Netflix List ASAP, or your mental Need To See list of ballet's. With an unique plot and one of the best uses of technicolor there ever was, it's almost like a grown up fairy tale/horror story done beautifully. What's even better, is they both do the ending right, which isn't something that can't be said about every work!
