Ext. Top Level of Parking Garage - Day
Standing in the sun with a duffel bag of money her spirits were as high as the parking garage she stood on. The wind blew and her lips chapped but she continues to smile anyway. After all the times he cheated her, and on her, she finally found her revenge. He was in jail and she had his money. This time, it was his turn to feel the sting.
Well, if you're not spending your weekend dreaming up a robbery/revenge film where you're dressed like a modern version of one the Pink Ladies and are rolling around colorful Monopoly money, then what are you doing? I'm pretty excited about some of the upcoming posts to this space, especially the video version of this post. I'm spending some extra time on it to try and make it more of a mini fashion film rather than just a look book, so we'll see how it turns out soon.
As for the current post, I found this bangin' jacket on Ebay for $6.00 and count it as one of the best purchases I've ever made, along with cotton candy flavored Mike & Ike's and Beyonce and Jay-Z tickets (ha!). The satin pink and Chevorlet "Heartbeat of America" embroidery is just too good. Also, it's actually really warm which is a big deal coming from someone who always feels cold. The disco pants are the same ones as in THIS post, and obviously I'm still as into them now as I was then. The cheetah bardot top I only see myself wearing it more as it continues to get warmer and I don't have to feel as though I've transformed into Elsa every time the wind blows. I would also like to note that in times of need when you can't find your strapless bra, a bandeau bikini top makes a wonderful substitution...I am living proof of this today. Necessity is the mother of invention, people! A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. So anyway, if you're day begins at any point to look down, just think of me. With a swimsuit on. Beneath my clothing. In a season where you can still see bits of snow on the side walk. You're welcome.
I hope all you humans are having a wonderful weekend! If you haven't taken time to watch the sunset lately, I highly suggest circling the levels of your city's tallest parking garage and pushing the brakes on the top floor. I promise you'll have one of the best views in town.
